F/JV Tennis District Tournament Results

The F/JV Tennis Teams competed today in the District Tournament. The entire team was pumped up and ready to put up a solid showing at the tournament and for Belton. The Freshman Team came out on fire and never looked back. The final results were:

Girls Singles: Gayathri Thirunavukkarasu placed 2nd overall

Girls Doubles: Emily Millington & Taylor Evans placed 2nd overall

Boys Singles: All Belton final of Josh Dehart & Trevor Dyck. Josh Dehart placed 1st & Trevor Dyck placed 2nd overall.

Boys Doubles: Codey Legore & Tristan Potts placed 2nd overall.

As a team, the Freshman Boys were overall District Champs and the Freshman Girls finished as District Co-Champs with Midway.

 

The JV Tennis Team dominated the tournament, and played solid tennis all day. The final results were:

Girls Singles: All Belton final of Brynn Harmsen & Ashley Shriner. Ashley Shriner took 1st place overall & Brynn Harmsen ended up in 2nd place.

Girls Doubles: Tristin Borger & Megan White placed 1st overall.

Boys Singles: JT Froese placed 4th overall. Zech Gauna placed 1st overall.

Boys Doubles: All Belton final of Dean Biava & Drew Biava against Kris Zajicek & Gavin Kalista. Kris Zajicek & Gavin Kalista ended up taking 2nd place overall and Dean Biava & Drew Biava placed 1st overall.

Mixed Doubles: Garrett Mueller & Ana Csizmesia placed 2nd overall.

As a team, the JV Boys were overall District Champs and the JV Girls were overall  District Champs as well.

 

This concludes the F/JV Tennis Team’s Spring Season. This was an amazing finish by all players, coming away with great results throughout every draw and becoming District Champions in both girls and boys for Freshman and Junior Varsity. What a great season for the entire team.
