Multiple Teams · Freshman VB going through growing pains, fall in three sets to Temple

The Belton Freshman squad bounced back from a tight first set to dominate the second set.
But a scrappy Temple TemCats Freshman squad were able to take the third set and win the match at Tiger Auxiliary Gym on Tuesday night.
The scores of the match were 25-21, 7-25 and 25-22.
Belton was able to make a couple of long runs for Freshman head coach Tiffany Barnes’ Lady Tigers and had a 9-5 lead in the final set. But the team is growing and still finding its way.
The Freshman will take part in the University Subvarsity Tournament in Waco on Thursday.
