We are so excited to announce today that one of our Belton swimmers, Savannah Henry has decided to continue her swimming by accepting a swimming scholarship to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale Illinois. Savannah currently holds Belton High School records in the 200 IM, the 100 Back, the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 Free Relay, and the 400 Free Relay. She was named All-State in the 100 Back, the 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. She has helped open the flood-gates, to get more girls aspiring for faster times. Her leadership and wit will be missed.
“My favorite memory of swimming for Belton would be going to state, being the first group of girls to go to state and then to final at state was just the best memory.” – Savannah Henry
