The Tiger JV tennis team competed in a tough Georgetown Tournament today. Everyone did very well against some good competition. In girls doubles the Tigers did especially well with Gayathri Thirunavukkarasu and Emily Millington taking 1st place. In the finals they had to play their teammates Tristan Borger and Amani Evans, making it an all Belton final. In boys doubles Josh DeHart and Braxton Harrison had a great day taking 2nd place. Also in boys doubles the team of Trevor Dyck and Conner Jones had a couple of tough matches in the semis but managed to get 4th place. In girls singles Faith Mason had a tough first round match but managed to fight back to win consolation. She had to play teammate Meghan White in the consolation finals. All in all this was a great learning experience for all of the JV team. They will be back on the courts for their last tournament of the fall next Thursday in Killeen. Way to Play Tigers!
