On Saturday 11/4 the Belton Swim Center hosted the 3rd Annual Super Quad Meet. Invited to this meet were some of the top teams in the state. Southlake, whose boys team has won the State Championship the last 7 years, Westlake, who ladies have won 3 of the last 4 State Championships and boys have been 2nd the last 4 years in a row, and Vandegrift, who is now 6A, but before the last redivision had the guys and girls win the 5A State Championship, and Belton. While the meet was swam with everyone all together, the meets were scored out as dual meets between each of the schools. Southlake was the top team winning all of their meets. Three new Pool records were set at the meet. It was a very fast swim meet. Some of the winning times were the fastest in the State so far this year and qualified for All America status. Belton did not win any of their meets against these top teams, but swam very well. Madden Baggerly and Conner Hogan were selected the Outstanding Swimmers of the Meet for Belton.
