The JV Tennis team had a great day at the Killeen Tournament today playing some great tennis to finish out the fall season. To start off in A boys singles the Tigers took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. With Josh Depart winning, Braxton Harrison taking 2nd, and Gavin Kalista taking 3rd. In A girls singles Gayathri Thuranavukarsu played well to take 2nd place and Amani Evans played well but fell short in the semis to take 4th place. In A boys doubles Jack Rahm and Chris Confer had a great tournament winning the tournament. Also, in A boys doubles Robert Conner and Bastian Loerzel finished in 4th place. In A girls doubles Meghan White and Tristan Borger had a rough start but finished great winning consolation. In the B draws Belton did equally well. In B girls singles Emily Millington had to play teammate Trinity McEowen in the finals. Emily finished in 1st with Trinity in 2nd. Brittney Blanco and Sarah McGoldrick had a great day finishing in 3rd place in B girls doubles. In B boys singles Mitchell Bonner had a great day taking 1st place. In B boys doubles Malahki Hernandez and Michael Gauna had a rough start but finished strong winning consolation. This is the last event for the fall season. The Tigers will start up their spring season in January of 2018. Great Job Tigers!
