Lady Tigers defeated by Liberty Hill, and Alsk played in Frost Silver Bracket

The Belton Lady Tigers put their 2-0 Pool C record on the line at the Georgetown High School Auxiliary Gymnasium on Friday, as they took on Liberty Hill.
The Lady Tigers, much in the way of their first meeting with the Lady Panthers, played a close first quarter. But Liberty Hill outscored Belton in the final three quarters, 46-10, to defeat the Lady Tigers 60-19.
Liberty Hill won the pool, outscoring opponents 181-58 over the course of three games.
The Lady Panthers’ 6-7 phenom Sedona Prince scored 20 points through three quarters and Landyn Faunie added 19 points through three quarters.
Keilee Burke led the Lady Tigers with seven points and Taylin Wesley added six points. Natasha Blizzard, Elisa Priddy, Kamie Moore and Alexis Wade also scored for the Lady Tigers.
Belton played Leander Vandegrift in the Silver Bracket 9:30 a.m. in the GHS Aux Gym on Saturday morning. The Tigers came up short losing by 8. The next game will be this Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7.
