Belton JV Red Shuts Out Shoemaker, 12-0

Jace Stephen shut down Shoemaker, throwing a complete game shutout & leading the Tigers to a 12-0 victory on Monday evening. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 hit & 0 runs while striking out 9 & walking 0. The Tigers didn’t commit a single error in the field to help support the strong pitching.

Offensively, the Red got things moving in the 1st inning, when Josh Bowers tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring 1 run. The Tigers put up 4 runs in the 4th inning. Christian Castillo, Coby Trovinger, & Marshall Florence all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Belton Tigers JV racked up 9 hits in total. Florence & Gunner Garrett both managed 3-hit games for the Tigers.

 Belton JV Red Takes the Win Over Shoemaker, 7-2

The Tiger JV Red won Game 2 against Shoemaker, 7-2

Canyon Tubbs led the Red to victory on the hill. He lasted 4 innings, allowing 2 hits & 2 runs while striking out 10.

Jacob Norwood, Rowdy Soliz, William Wallace, Gunner Garrett, Tubbs, & Christian Alexander each managed 1 hit to lead the Tiger offensive onslaught.
