2019 Regional Powerlifting Meet Itinerary
@ Del Valle High School
Friday, March 1st
2:30 PM—Lifters report to field house
2:50 PM—Lifters complete equipment requirements and initial weigh in at field house
3:15 PM—Lifters depart field house for Del Valle to weigh in early
5:00 PM-7:00 PM—Early weigh in
9:00 PM—Lifters return to field house
Saturday, March 2nd
5:00 AM – All lifters report to the field house
5:15 AM –Leaving for Del Valle High School (5201 Ross Road, Del Valle, Texas 78617)
6:30 AM –Weigh-in starts
8:30 AM – Coaches meeting / Lifters begin warming up
9:00 AM – Lifting Begins
5:00 PM – Estimated time lifting should be complete
7:30 PM – Estimated arrival back in Belton (we will stop to eat in Round Rock on the way home).
“Things” you will need:
- A small duffel bag or backpack to carry personal items to and from meet. YOU are responsible for your suit and bench shirt as well as your knee wraps.
You lose them; you will have to buy them.
- Snack food to eat throughout the day. We will provide breakfast and lunch. Anything else, such as snacks are up to you. There will be a concession stand provided.
- I would NOT recommend bringing any personal or school electronic devices. They will just have a chance to get lost or stolen.
- Wear good tennis shoes that will lace up and tie. NO Slippers or Sandals!
