In October of 2017, a new scoreboard was installed at Wilson Kerzee Stadium. The replacement was made due to the age of the existing scoreboard, performance, and difficulty in obtaining repair parts.
Typically when a new scoreboard is installed the existing scoreboard is disposed of by the installer, in this case Daktronics. Because of the history associated with this particular scoreboard, the decision was made by BISD personnel to keep the scoreboard and offer it to the Belton Tiger Athletic Booster Club to be auctioned off at a later date. We believed it would be fun to allow community members an opportunity to own this unique part of Belton athletics lore that was no longer able to adequately function as the official scoreboard for Wilson Kerzee for all of the events held there each year. While at the same time provide a resource to raise money for the Belton Tiger Athletic Booster Club. The scoreboard has been stored outdoors on BISD property inside the Wilson Kerzee complex for the past 18 months.
Within the past 18 months there had been multiple inquiries into plans for the scoreboard. In each case, interested parties were informed that the scoreboard would be auctioned off at a later date by the BTABC. June 13 has been the date set since last fall for the golf tournament to raise funds to benefit BISD athletics and the BTABC. It seemed an appropriate time to have the auction for the scoreboard to coincide with the golf tournament fundraiser.
100% of the funds from this auction will go directly to the student athletes of Belton ISD.

Bids can be made on the Belton Tiger Athletic Booster Club Facebook through Thursday June 13, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The sign is available as is condition with no guarantees or promises included. All bids must be posted in the comment section below along with your email address and be time stamped during these hours to count for the winning bid. The winning bidder will need to provide funding to the BTABC by Friday June 14 at 5 pm. The winning bidder will have to make arrangements to pickup and transport at their own cost.
