football · Belton Tiger new assistant football coach Carlo Mosnia


Carlo was a 2012 TASCO Boys Soccer All-State goalkeeper during his senior year of high school. He also earned the 2012 Excellence in Life Award for succeeding in the classroom as well as athletically. He graduated from Belton High School in 2013 and went on to attend the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor before transferring to Eastern Illinois University in 2014.

While at EIU, he played football for two years. He started on kickoffs during the 2015 season. Whenever time allowed, he also trained with the men’s soccer team. Carlo made the Dean’s List in Spring of 2015, Fall of 2015, and Spring of 2016. Carlo was honored with the 2016 Promising Business Scholar award, the 2016 OVC Medal of Honor, and the 2017 Senior Merit Management Award. He graduated from EIU with a 3.84 GPA and with a degree in Business Management.

In 2019, He obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Business from Grand Canyon University. During his time at GCU, Carlo served as the Director of Operations for the Men’s Soccer Team.

Carlo will be teaching social studies, assisting in sub varsity football, coaching the kickers and assisting in boys soccer.
