football · Belton Tigers announce new Strength and Conditioning Coach- Nathan York


Nathan York is coming to Belton High School from Florida Atlantic University where he was an Assistant Football Strength & Conditioning Coach for the past two years. While at FAU, he was part of the staff that helped lead the Owls to the 2019 Conference USA Championship. FAU finished an 11-3 season in 2019 with a 52-28 win over SMU in the Boca Raton Bowl.

Prior to FAU, York served as a football strength and conditioning coach for two years at the University of South Carolina.

York began his collegiate athletics career in 2013 as a strength and conditioning student assistant at Liberty University, a role he served until 2015. He then took on a strength and conditioning internship at the University of Alabama.

York obtained a B.S in exercise science from Liberty University in 2015. He received his M.S. in Sports Management –Intercollegiate Athletic Administration in 2017 from California University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength Coaches Association.
