The Softball team opened the season traveling to Midway on Tuesday night.  Having only had 1 practice in the last 12 days and only 1 scrimmage showed against a very solid Midway team.  Several first inning errors got the Tigers down early 7-0 before they settled down and battled Midway until they allowed 3 more runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Kaylee Rodriquez led the team going 2 for 2 with 2 SBs and Mackenzie Drake made a great throw from the CF wall throwing out a Midway runner at 3B that was tagging on the play.  The Final Score was 10-0

The team will travel to Wylie on Friday and play 3 games in the Wylie Tournament.The JV team struggled and succumb to Midway 21-0.

The team played hard and continues to get better.
